Charities
Through family and friends, a Memorial Fund has been established in Patrick’s honor. The intent of the fund is to allocate monies annually to various worthwhile charities selected by an Advisory Board.
For 2022 the following charities were awarded grants from the Patrick Cooper Davis Memorial Fund:

Sunnybrook provides support to foster parents and children, while also preparing older youth to succeed in life by developing independence through education, job training, self-discipline, and a strong Christian foundation.

But God Ministries is a 501(c)(3), non-profit organization, that shares the love of Jesus Christ through building sustainable communities around the world.

In thirty-five years, CSI has grown from a small vision of a few dedicated people to a community-supported emergency room for the victims of poverty, addiction, and unexpected events.

Wounded Warriors are all around us. You might not see a veteran's injuries since not all of them are visible. Our mission is to help veterans with the internal battle to reconnect with society. This battle can be as difficult as the battlefield itself.

Good health and wellness are cornerstones of our prevention focused efforts at the William Magee Center for AOD and Wellness Education. Wellness is an active process of pursing individual discovery of health, personal growth, and quality of life. It is not simply the absence of illness. Our goal is to work collaboratively and in conjunction with campus partners to address all dimensions of wellness to make the University of Mississippi campus community the healthiest campus it can be.

Our mission is to save abandoned, stray and injured cats and kittens. We provide the cats with complete vetting in a safe and loving environment. Our cats are available for adoption to loving homes.

The mission of Children’s of Alabama is to provide the finest pediatric health services to all children in an environment that fosters excellence in research and medical education. Children’s will be an advocate for all children and work to educate the public about issues affecting children's health and well-being.

Stewpot Community Services provides compassionate assistance, at no charge, to people in need of physical and spiritual nourishment. Through our ministries, we serve people who are hungry, poor, and homeless, offering food, shelter, clothing, mentoring, care and concern. At Stewpot, we believe that we all are fed through our fellowship with one another and that we are all stronger when we are offering our gifts on behalf of others.

Over the next 5 years, we will mobilize our entire church family to “Love the Hub” city by building relationships with the people God places into our lives and inviting them to take their next steps towards Jesus. We will do this by serving 50k hours, baptizing 1k people, and investing $2 million dollars into our local communities, while at the same time Exalting Jesus, Equipping all, and Empowering the next generation to be the church (E3).

Campers have been experiencing adventures at Abbie Rogers Civitan Camp for over 50 years. Laughter echoes non-stop through the South-Mississippi woods where camp takes place for two weeks in the summer and again over a long weekend in the fall. Whether campers want to swim like fish or reel them in, glide over the water in an innertube or relax on the boat, show off their talents on stage or in arts and crafts… Civitan is the perfect place to make camp memories that will last a lifetime!

The purpose of this fund is to award scholarships to deserving students with preference given to students who demonstrate financial need.

The purpose of this fund is to provide a scholarship to a Dixie Darling from Petal. If no Dixie Darling is from Petal, the scholarship is to be awarded to a Dance Major or Minor from Petal. Selection is to be discussed with James and Kathleen Warren.
